When you visit our website www.znp.ch (the “Website”), personal data is collected, recorded, disclosed or otherwise processed. In accordance with applicable data protection laws, we are to be designated as the data controller with regard to the personal data we process.

important. The protection of your privacy and your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, and in particular the Federal Act on Data Protection (“FADP”) and the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), is important to us.

In this privacy policy for our website (this “Privacy Policy”), we describe how your personal data is collected in connection with your visit to our website, how and for what purposes we use your personal data, and to whom we may disclose your personal data. As part of our services, we may collect personal data relating to visitors to the website and to individuals who book an appointment themselves via our website. The same applies in the event that a third party books an appointment on your behalf.

– directly from you when you visit our website, which may also include information you provide to us via the contact forms available on the website;

We collect the following information about you and use it for the following purposes:

– Your contact details (name, address, telephone number, email address or other contact details): booking appointments, sending appointment reminders, registration, issuing invoices
.– Your IP address and browsing behaviour: improving and optimising our website.
– Technical data (e.g. web browser, operating system or time of page visit) relating to you: to ensure the error-free provision of our website and for analytical purposes.

We process the data marked with an asterisk in order to provide a service to our customers. For other processing activities, we rely on the protection of our legitimate interests.

6.) To whom do we disclose your personal data?

For the purposes listed above, we may disclose your personal data to service providers with whom we collaborate (e.g. IT service providers or marketing agencies). Your personal data may also be disclosed to other group companies and owners for analytical purposes.

To ensure the protection of your personal data, we will, where necessary, ensure that appropriate contractual safeguards are in place when we disclose your personal data to a third party. For example, we will enter into data processing agreements with the relevant third parties (to agree on restrictions regarding the use of your personal data and obligations regarding the protection and security of your personal data).

In exceptional cases, they may also be based in countries outside the EEA and Switzerland, where data protection standards are lower than in the EEA and Switzerland. In particular, we will enter into standard data protection clauses with the relevant third parties, which have been drawn up or recognised by the European Commission and the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (‘FDPIC’).

Your personal data and/or personal profile will not be leased or sold to third parties.

7.) How long do we retain your personal data?

Your personal data will not be retained for longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it is processed (we refer to the purposes listed above under Section 5). We will only retain your personal data for longer if we are legally obliged to do so, or if it is necessary to defend our interests in the context of a legal dispute (whether in or out of court).

8.) How do we protect your personal data?

In view of the risks we have identified, we will take appropriate administrative, technical and organisational measures to ensure the adequate security of your personal data. We protect personal data that is transmitted, stored or otherwise processed against destruction, loss and alteration, as well as against unauthorised disclosure and unauthorised access. In particular, we have switched the website to the HTTPS (Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure) protocol.

Please note that data transmission over the internet (e.g. when communicating by email) may be subject to security vulnerabilities. It is not possible to provide complete protection of data against access by third parties.

In addition, we ensure that the personal data we process is accurate and up to date. For this reason, we ask you to inform us of any changes to your personal data (such as your contact details) so that we can, for example, send you appointment reminders and invoices.

9.) What rights do you have and how can you exercise them?

Under applicable data protection law, you may exercise the following rights at any time and, in principle, free of charge:

– Rectification of your personal data;
– Erasure of your personal data (‘right to be forgotten’);
– Restriction of the processing of your personal data;
– Objection to the processing of your personal data;
– Data portability, i.e. the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and to transmit this data to another organisation.

Finally, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, the EDÖB (Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, Feldeggweg 1, CH-3005 Bern), in connection with our processing of your personal data.

10.) Use of cookies and social media plug-ins

We use cookies and similar technologies on our website and process your personal data (e.g. IP address) in order, for example, to personalise content and adverts, to embed third-party media, or to analyse traffic to our website. Data processing may also take place as a result of cookies being set. We share this data with third parties, whom we name in the privacy settings.

Some services process personal data in non-EU countries. By consenting to the use of these services, you also consent to the processing of your data in these countries in accordance with Article 49(1)(a) of the GDPR and Article 17(1)(a) of the DSG. The provision of personal data is neither contractually required nor necessary for the conclusion of a contract. You are not obliged to provide personal data. If you do not provide the personal data, we will not be able to manage your consents.

11.) How can you manage or delete these cookies?

: Right to information and right of access to your personal data:

You may at any time request further information about our data processing and the personal data we hold about you. You may submit your request for access in writing, enclosing a copy of your identity card or passport, to the address listed under Section 12) Contact.

Right to rectification of inaccurate data and completion of incomplete data:

If your personal data is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to request that this data be rectified or completed without delay.

Right to erasure of your personal data (‘right to be forgotten’):

You may request that we erase (some of) your personal data:
– if it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed;
– if the processing was based on your consent and you have withdrawn that consent;
– if you have other legitimate grounds to object to the processing of your personal data;
– if we are processing your personal data unlawfully;
